Flows of Air and Gases Used in a Special Furnace are Controlled by Flowmeters

A total of eleven Series RM Rate-Master® flowmeters function in the design of this sophisticated conveyor belt furnace used in manufacturing electronic devices. The flowmeters provide precise adjustment and monitoring of the flows of air and gases into the various portions of the furnace, which allow it to perform different operations, such as decarburizing and oxidizing, metallic package sealing, glass package sealing, and glass-to-metal sealing.
