Features

  • 1" Thick Acrylic Plastic Body is a solid block, virtually unbreakable, stable and free of the danger of distortion.
  • Drilled Bore Accurate to ±.0002" free of bends or crooks, will not require recalibration because of distortion.
  • Selected Gage Fluid with high wetability characteristics forms a consistent, well shaped meniscus for most accurate readability.
  • Adjustable Reflective Polished Aluminum Scales with thumbscrew locking for easy zeroing.
  • Parallax-Free Reading for maximum accuracy and consistency is achieved by simply aligning the meniscus with its image reflected in the scale.
  • Over-Pressure Safety Traps prevent loss of fluid due to over range pressures or surges in pressure. (Not required on No. 215.)
  • Leveling Adjustment for inclined style gages is achieved by simply loosening a locking thumb screw on the side or bottom of the gage, adjusting with reference to the integral sensitive ground glass bubble level and retightening.
  • Heavy Gage Steel Mounting Panels are gray hammerloid finished.
  • Precision Built assures device meets the highest standards
  • Standard units have the A-315 3/16" ID tubing connectors, more connection options in the product configurator.

Options

  • Type B connections (Two molded nylon rapid shutoff tubing connectors, one 9 foot length of rubber tubing and one brass terminal tube).
  • Type C connections (Two 1/8" pipe thread openings).
  • Type D connections(Two compression fittings for 1/4" O.D. copper or aluminum tubing).
  • Type E connections (Two 3-way vent valves, 1/8" 1/8 NPT to 1/4" metal tubing).
  • -AT Aluminum Tag (Useful for identifying where the product goes in a large facility).
  • -NIST Nist Calibration

Questions

Question
Is routine maintenance required for a Dwyer red gage fluid type manometer?
Answer
Yes. The zero point should be checked periodically as well as the fluid level. After a year of service, particularly with dirty air, the fluid should be replaced to assure that specific gravity changes are not affecting the accuracy of the reading.
Question
Does the model 310 manometer require regular calibration and if so, what calibration interval is recommended? Also, if calibration is required, do you have a location which could perform the calibration?
Answer
The Model 310 manometer does not require any calibration, as long as there has been no physical damage to the gauge. So barring no leaks or cracks, no calibration is needed. We do recommend changing out the gauge fluid every 3 years to ensure proper functionality.
